THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY release their fourth and new studio album on 5 May with the auspicious title "1901 | The First Mother", a brute hunk of fury par excellence! Since their formation in 2007, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY have successfully mastered their challenges. After the release of their demo, which was voted "Demo of the Month" in Rock Hard Germany, they were signed by Napalm Records and released their debut album "Damned To Blindness" (2008). Thanks to the great reception from the metal world, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY toured Europe as both headliners and support acts, taking part in the "Evisceration Plague Tour" with Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus & Obscura and the "Doomsday X Tour" with Malevolent Creation and Vomitory. The band also played selected shows with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Sepultura, Decapitated, Suicide Silence and others. The release of the second album "Requiem For Us All" (2013) propelled the death metal war machine a step forward once again and brought the band on tour together with Gorgoroth, Vital Remains, Hypocrisy and many gigs on national soil. Four years later, after a line-up change, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY released their third album, "Stygian", which opened a new chapter in the band's sound, introducing black metal riffs, keyboards, atmospheres and orchestral elements. The album was released by Innerstrength Records and saw the band tour Europe, supporting Vader and Entombed A.D. on their 2018 "European Chaos Tour" and sharing the stage with Jinjer, Decapitated and Incite. Recently they have been back on tour playing big festivals with Slipknot, Sabaton and Behemoth. With the year of the Corona Pandemic forcing the music world to a standstill, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY focused on writing and recording their new work of art, "1901 | The First Mother", which goes on sale May 5, 2023 via Fireflash Records.
