OSYRON is a Canadian progressive symphonic metal band known for powerful lyrics, complex melodies, soaring clean vocals, and carefully placed contrasting vocal styles. Originally formed in 2012, the band currently features vocalist Reed Alton, guitarists Krzysztof Stalmach and Bobby Harley, bassist Tyler Corbett, and drummer Cody Anstey.

OSYRON has shared the stage with renowned acts including Nightwish, Insomnium, Evergrey, Dark Tranquillity, Kamelot, DragonForce, Amorphis, Kreator, Destruction, Hypocrisy, and many more, including appearances connected to 70,000 Tons of Metal. Their metal version of "O Canada" was licensed for a Destination Canada ski video shown before all screenings of Warren Miller’s 2021 film Winter Starts Now, and the band received the prestigious FACTOR Canada Juried Sound Recording grant in 2021.

In summer 2023, OSYRON made their European festival debut at Rock Castle in Czechia, appearing alongside HammerFall, Amaranthe, U.D.O., Alestorm, Beast in Black, Doro, and more. That same year, they brought their world-class sound across North America on a 16-date tour supporting Seven Kingdoms. In summer 2024, the band returned to Europe for a six-date run, bookended by major festival appearances where they shared the stage with Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, and Accept at Masters of Rock in Czechia.

OSYRON are now preparing to enter their next chapter with their upcoming self-titled fifth album, planned for release in late 2026. Built around the themes of overcoming adversity, defining one’s purpose and finding one’s TELOS, the record focuses on emerging victorious through struggle and perseverance. It represents everything the band has fought for, everything they have learned, and everything they are becoming.

Written collaboratively through a shared creative vision, the album reflects the natural progression of OSYRON at this point in their journey. Every song was shaped collectively, drawing from personal experiences, internal battles, and the drive to push themselves further, both musically and emotionally.

Thematically, the record explores resilience, identity, purpose, and transformation. It confronts hardship head-on while refusing to be defined by it, resulting in an album about survival, growth, and finding meaning through adversity.

With their upcoming self-titled album, listeners can expect OSYRON’s most ambitious, focused, refined, and well-crafted record to date. While staying true to the foundation of their sound, the release pushes every element further, delivering an intense and emotionally charged experience that captures exactly who OSYRON are as a band right now.
