At just 14 to 20 years old, SARCATOR released their first demo tape, "Visions Of Purgatory", through Redefining Darkness Records in 2019. Only two years later, the band earned a nomination for Best Rock/Metal Album at the Swedish P3 Guld Awards with their 2020 self-titled debut, released via the same label. Following their second album "Alkahest", issued through Black Lion Records in 2022, SARCATOR began performing live in earnest, quickly building a reputation for intense, blackened shows that captivated audiences. Their third album, "Swarming Angels & Flies", released in early 2025, marked a major step forward in both scope and recognition, earning the band a Swedish Grammy nomination. Now signed to Reigning Phoenix Music, SARCATOR are preparing to release their fourth album in 2026, further solidifying their position among a fiercely driven new generation of Scandinavian extreme metal.
